Dealing with stress - individual, neurobiological, transgenerational

To the content

Everyone talks about stress. But what is it anyway? How does our organism react to repeated (e.g. early) experiences of stress? Why is MMV - abuse, mistreatment, neglect - the stress combination that causes the most damage, not only psychologically, but throughout the organism, from the brain to the gut and into the genome? Can a lack of ability to cope with stress be inherited, and if so, what does that mean for future generations - and for the psychotherapeutic care of stress sufferers? Will biomarkers soon be part of our natural diagnostic tools?

We want to explore these exciting questions in a one-day seminar in which we can also discuss the findings and corresponding case histories. Because it looks like we also have to adapt collectively to increasing stress consequences. What will help us do this, what should we pay attention to?
